What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as whether you have previously accepted cookie usage — which can make the site more useful on return visits.

Cookies do not contain personal information in themselves, though some can be linked to identifying information when combined with other data. We handle all such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

How Solacen uses cookies

We use a small number of cookies to support basic website functionality and, with your permission, to understand how visitors use our website. We do not use cookies for advertising targeting purposes at this time.

Types of cookies we use

Essential Cookies — always active. These are necessary for the site to function correctly. They include cookies that remember your consent choice. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics Cookies — optional. These help us understand how visitors navigate the site, which pages receive the most attention, and where visitors come from. All data is anonymised. We use this only to improve the website.

Marketing Cookies — optional. These support advertising and retargeting features. If enabled, they allow us to understand whether advertising has led to a visit. Solacen does not currently run active advertising campaigns, but these may be used in future.

Preference Cookies — optional. These remember user settings and preferences across visits, providing a more consistent experience.

Third-party cookies

If analytics or marketing cookies are accepted, the following third-party services may set cookies on your device:

These services operate under their own privacy policies, which govern how they process data collected via cookies on your device.
